Work directly on the job site and participate in the following opportunities that may include the following activities: Review of proposed drawings, specifications and scopes of work for accuracy, filing, value engineering, monitor progress against schedule, quality checks, evaluate project conditions, cleanliness, safety, etc and create project report documents. Ideal candidates would be currently enrolled in engineering and/or construction management degreed programs. Specific qualifications include: Ability to read blueprints, specifications, etc. General understanding of commercial construction activities, familiarity with OSHA standards and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. This internship is designed for students who are considering future careers in this exciting field. |
