Internship Title: Receptionist Intern

Internship Work Location: 21355 Ridgetop Circle, Suite 200 Dulles, VA 20166

Description: Provide receptionist and general office support for the corporate headquarters located in Dulles, VA. The individual must project a professional image and attitude. Duties will include general receptionist and office support as outlined below:

Primary Responsibilities:
1.    Answer incoming telephone calls and transfer to appropriate staff member.
2.    Greets and directs all visitors, including clients, vendors, job candidates, etc.
3.    Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the company’s common areas, including kitchen, lobby, work room, etc.
4.    Sorts and distributes incoming mail and processes outgoing mail (occasional Post Office drops-offs).
5.    Sign for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages. 
6.    Performs general administrative duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, and filing.
7.    Ensures conference rooms are set and cleaned for upcoming meetings. 
8.    Assist other administrative staff with overflow work, including but not limited to: creating and/or modifying documents using Microsoft applications, internet research, and other general administrative duties.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
1.    Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and telephone protocol.
2.    Attention to detail is a must.
3.    Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external co-workers/clients/vendors.
4.    Must work well independently and in a team environment.
5.    Must have excellent customer service, including courteous and professional behavior.
Qualifications:
Students must currently be enrolled in a high school, accredited college, university or community college program leading to a degree.
