CYC will be participating in the DC Chinatown Lunar New Year Parade. All are welcome to join.
Meet at Wah Luck House (800 6th St NW, Washington, DC 20001)
Set up starts at 9am. All are welcome to help if they can.
Seniors & Musicians: Please arrive no later than 10am.
Juniors: Please arrive no later than 12pm.
We will line up for the parade at 1:00pm. The parade starts at 2:00.
We encourage you to arrive as early as possible because there's plenty of set up to be done and parking is limited. Everyone is responsible for their own parking.
UNIFORMS: Performers should wear the usual CYC shirt, sash, black pants, and if possible, black shoes.
PARENTS & COMMUNITY MEMBERS: You are welcome to join us in the parade. Please wear your community CYC shirt. If you do not have one, we should have some to give you.
NEW PARENTS: This is a very long day. Please help us by making sure your children are dressed appropriately, have enough snacks, take necessary breaks, and are supervised when they aren't performing or actively helping.
