On Sunday, February 16, CYC, in collaboration with partner organizations, is bringing back the tradition of blessing local restaurants in Chinatown on New Year’s Eve.

2:00–5:00 PM | Chinatown Culture Tour
Families and juniors are invited to join a guided culture walk to learn about Chinese New Year traditions and Chinatown history from community members who grew up there.

• Registration is required. Please RSVP by completing the registration form.

• All participating students are eligible to receive SSL hours.

• Lion dancers will depart early from the walk to prepare for the restaurant blessings.

• Meet at 817 6th Street

4:30 PM | Junior Lion Dance Team Meet-Up
Juniors who plan to participate in the restaurant blessings should meet in Chinatown at 4:30 PM (meeting location TBD).

4:30–6:30 PM | Restaurant Blessings
The CYC Junior Lion Dance Team will lead restaurant blessings throughout Chinatown.
